RIFT Recruitment Questionnaire - What brought you to our website? My friend RbdPanda told me about this website and guild and how it was an awesome laid back active guild that is going to be playing Rift. - This recruitment process requires that we get to know you a little bit. Tell us about yourself: As an avid gamer, I spend most of my free time on my computer. I'm 25 and have been playing games for many years. I play MMOs (to my boyfriend's dismay) and all sorts of other games. Along with gaming I love animals and doing arts & crafts. I also love to record gaming videos for youtube under the username agirlwhoplaysgames. I'm hoping that you all will be ok with me recording videos of guild events and posting them on my channel. - We have found that guild members have a better gaming experience if they use the forums and the events calender. This allows you to get game information and join guildies in quests as your RL time permits. Do you intend on being active on our website forums and Events Calendar? Of course! As much as RL will let me be. I'm excited about joining a guild that will be active and not just a social one. - Once you learn how, we would like you to create events or RSVP for other scheduled events as your RL schedule permits. What are your thoughts on this? As my friend RbdPands has said, "I am very much looking forward to becoming an active participator in your calendar event system. i think its a fantastic and essential feature for a successful guild to work together efficiently" I feel exactly the same and believe he said it best. =D - Have you been playing MMO's for a while or are you just getting started? I've been playing MMOs for a long time now. I'm not exactly sure how long, but my first MMO was Ultima Online. I've tried other MMO's such as Everquest, Horizons, a lot of F2P ones, WoW, Warhammer Online and now Rift. - We expect all players to submit and update their characters in our website ROSTER. Are you ok with this? After reading the above content, why do you think it might be important? I'm more than ok with this. Especially for the signiture info. It will be a lot easier to keep track of who's who when they make posts. - What kind of character do you typically play? Tell us about your main character: I love to play clerics but have been known to play dps chars. As of now I don't have a character since Rift keeps giving me an error when trying connect to the game. But as soon as it lets me connect, I will be making a cleric. - If you violate ANY rules defined within the gaming EULA you will be removed from this community. You ok with this? Of course, as anyone should be. - What time of day do you typically play? How often? I currently don't have a job so I'd be playing whenever RL wouldn't interfer or my animals/crafts (and boyfriend) don't require attention. So I will probably be playing a lot, hehe... - Are you affiliated with any other guilds? In WoW I'm in a social guild called Knights of Keebler. As for some of the shooter games I play, I'm in a clan called DmD which is currently (mostly) inactive due to the clan leader being in the military stationed in Japan. - How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? I love gaming in groups and helping others as best as I can. - Which of the characters listed in your forum signature (see STEP 3) do you play the most? What level is your main character? I currently don't have any characters in my forum signature due to what I previously said about Rift not letting me connect. But as soon as it does I will update my signature. But as for my main char will be my Cleric. =) - We are an Argonnessen Server guild within Dungeons and Dragons Online. Do you play on this server? According to RbdPanda, he has informed me to use this questionaire and that the Rift server has been chosen to be bryial which I will be playing on. =) I'm very excited to play in such a large and active guild =D
You forgot the most important question. Pickles. Dill or sweet? P.S. I'm the resident crazy Canadian that you should never take seriously, under any circumstances! P.P.S. And a preemptive welcome to OSD, the best damn guild ever, in any game. It's true, both Bob Ross AND Chuck Norris said so. I won't be in Rift myself so you won't have to put up with me there, but you'll see me trolling the forums, and eventually in SWTOR if you roll with OSD for that game.
