2015 Nominations - Epic Fail of the Year

I nominate Flash Reaper from FFXIV division for this epic fail:

Basically, a raid turns messy and he attempts to save the day by using Healer Limit Break 3 to rez us all....right to our deaths. Bonus: he did this not once, but twice!

 

I believe he is Flash on our site? Correct me if I'm wrong.

If at first you don't succeed ... oh never mind.

 

What about Bryth and the frozen cyclops! That's an epic tale of vile treachery.

 

Are you nominating Bryth? If so, please give us a little bit of detail on what happened. It doesn't have to be an essay, just a quick summary so people can know what they're voting on.

 

It had been a long fight. Three times the monster had called for her pet Cyclopes to aid her and three times they had been outwitted and frozen. Our group periodically used the Cyclopes unmoving bodies for cover from the explosions filling the arena, thus narrowly avoiding a horrific death.

But the monster was nearly slain. Bryth turned from dispatching the last guardian and jumped into the fray to deliver a massive ae death blow! But not upon the dread monster which would win the fight oh no. Upon the frozen Cyclopes. Cause tab target. Then, caught without cover, everyone exploded.

 

It was on the correct target, they just got caught in the AE as well XD. But yes, he used Dragonfire Dive RIGHT before the wipe mechanic went off, leaving us nothing to hide behind, we got petrified and then died. Good times. He will never live that down. XD
